Be it Wanna Cry or Petya – the most recent malware attacks unleashed massive problems and revealed technical security lacks all over the world. But if you take a look at the hackers’ income, you’ll quickly notice that the ransom money on their Bitcoin accounts bear no proportions to the risk they run (check out this Bitcoin liveticker for Wanna Cry).
Meanwhile, the guys who developed Judy make a real fortune month by month: malware Judy circulates on approximately 36,5 millions of Android phones and is part of a huge bot network that generates artificial clicks on web ads. Judy infected the phones by camouflaging as a normal game – and got downloaded by unaware users directly from Google Play Store. Another prove that not noticing malware doesn’t mean to be secure against attacks…
